We launched our Will Writing service in 2012 to help our clients with their overall financial planning. Life changing events such as getting married, buying a house, having children often prompt us to either review our Will or have our first one written.
As Financial Advisers, we can help you plan for the security of your family should you no longer be around. As well as writing a Will to determine who receives your wealth, we also provide advice on how to clear any financial commitments you may have at the time so that your beneficiaries inherit free of any liability.
When considering the effects on leaving children behind, it's also possible to arrange Flexible Children's Trusts and suitable life policies which provide your chosen legal guardians with the necessary funds to bring up your children in the way you would have wanted.
Using trusts and other estate planning methods we will advise on how to reduce or eliminate any inheritance tax on your estate.
Each individual or family situation is different and therefore the advice we give is tailored to specific needs. We will meet with you to establish your circumstances and make a recommendation. The second meeting will be for the attestation (signing of the Will) where we can meet with your executors and the guardians of your children if relevant to advise them of their responsibilities and answer any questions which arise.
Wills are stored securely and are also placed on an electronic Wills register for safekeeping. Please contact us for further information and to discuss how we can be of help.
The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate Wills or Trusts.
